The Snowflake outlet in Kuchai Lama has temporarily closed down due to a Covid-19 case among one of their staff members.

The incident was confirmed through a statement by Snowflake, which was posted to their store front, as shared by the Kuchai Lama 旧古仔路 Facebook page.

They wrote,

“We regret to inform that one of our staff from the Kuchai Lama outlet has tested positive for Covid-19. Henceforth and in line with government regulations, SNOWFLAKE Kuchai Lama will be closed effective 13 December 2020 until further notice for a thorough sanitisation and disinfection and to arrange for all our staff to do Covid-19 tests.”

Those who have come into close contact with the staff member have been contacted and informed of the situation and have been requested to participate in testing as well.

“We apologise for any inconvenience caused. The safety of our customers and staff remains our utmost priority. Thank you for the continuous support. Please stay safe and healthy.”

There has yet to be a decline in the number of cases, which is concerning. Even though the authorities have eased the restrictions, we should take it upon ourselves to stay safe and protect our loved ones by avoiding going out as much as possible.
