Kind M’sian Packs Extra Meal Daily For Her Son to Share With Friend Who Had Lost His Mother

The kind actions of a Malaysian woman warmed the hearts of netizens recently after she shared the reason why she packs two identical meals daily for her son to bring to school.

Posting on the Masak Apa Tak Jadi Hari Ni Official Facebook page, the woman, Siti Hawa Mohd Zainuddin shared a photo of two identical packed meals consisting of rice, sambal prawns, salted fish and grapes for her son.

In the caption, Siti Hawa said that the extra packed meal is for her son to share with his friend at the Islamic school that they attend.

She further elaborated that her son’s friend had lost his mother when he was just 11 years old.

Siti Hawa added that she also knows that her son’s friend sometimes went to the school without having any pocket money to spend.

She said,

“Sometimes, I gave my son extra packed meal to share with his friend and in other times, I gave extra pocket money to my son so that he can treat his friend.”

The post has since touched on the heart strings of Malaysians, garnering over 19,000 reactions and 1,100 comments as of the time of writing.

In an update, Siti Hawa shared a photo of the same lunch boxes after her son came back from school.

She added that she was almost in tears after her son told her that his friend said that the meal was delicious and finished all of it.

In the comments, many Malaysians praised Siti Hawa for her generosity and kindness, praying that she’ll be given good karma for her actions.
