In a recent viral post by user @pawsofhopemy, the account shared a video showing a dog crying and whining, seemingly in distress, as if it were trying to call out for help.

In the video, the dog is shown sitting in darkness. Later, it was discovered that the dog was actually stuck in a deep drainage ditch.

It was also revealed that they found the dog in a shivering, scared and confused state.

The user mentioned that someone might have tried to rescue the dog, as there’s a red nylon string visible around it. However, their attempt likely failed due to the dog’s weight.

Even though they were unsure of what to do, the user was determined to rescue the dog at any cost. Eventually, they managed to get help from a man who happened to be collecting recyclables nearby.

Without hesitation, the man grabbed his ladder and went down into the darkness, despite the conditions of the deep drainage.

Regardless of his religious beliefs, the man still stepped up and rescued the dog.

Despite the dog’s weight, they successfully rescued it from the drain, unharmed.

The video concluded with a message from the user urging everyone to seek help from those around them if they encounter a dog in a critical situation, emphasizing that the dog’s life relies on their actions.

“If it wasn’t for the kind hearted abang, I honestly wouldn’t know who else to reach out especially at night when everyone else is asleep.”

Netizens started flooding the comment section to show their love and support.
