Malaysia is a country with no shortage of homeless people living on the streets of our bustling capital city.

Though, as lively as Kuala Lumpur is, these homeless people who require help are too easily ignored and overlooked as people go on with their daily lives. Thankfully, once in a while, there are compassionate individuals who stand out from the crowd and become exemplary kind citizens.

The We are Malaysians Facebook page took to their profile to showcase a Foodpanda delivery rider in Kuala Lumpur, who decided to stop and leave some food for a homeless man sleeping by the roadside.

FoodPanda rider ???He is sending free Breakfast for him..???#FoodPanda

They wrote, “Foodpanda rider. He is sending him free breakfast.”

It is unsure as to who the food truly belongs to, but theories include that someone could have ordered, paid for it and informed the rider to pass it around to the homeless in town, or the food might have been cancelled by the customer.

Whoever is it that provided the food, the act of helping the homeless and poverty-stricken should always be commended and become a common practice among Malaysians.

We are Malaysians’ posting has since garnered over 508 shares.
