While some arrogant drivers may find joy in obstructing traffic and putting lives at stake, a good Samaritan recently went the extra mile to make way for a fire truck during an emergency.

In a viral TikTok post by one of the members of the fire brigade @eklinamit, a motorcyclist in Banting, Selangor was seen taking the role of traffic police for a few minutes to control the traffic. He had only one motive – to make way for the fire truck, in which the firemen were rushing to an emergency.

In the clip, the rider is seen continuously waving his hands to the vehicles on both lanes of the road, signalling them to make way for the fire truck. Not only that but the kind rider also made sure that the fire truck had ample space to pass through when the vehicles made way for it.

It was quite a narrow road and coincidentally, both lanes had trucks and buses.

Regardless, the rider tried his best to make sure that there was enough space created for the fire truck to pass through. The rider was focused on his short (but important) task, and on the rider’s mark, the driver of the fire truck finally drove away from the scene.

In another video, the fireman revealed that his team was rushing to an accident scene, which involved a lorry and their help was needed.

The anonymous rider deserved a standing ovation for his effort in traffic control, and we’re not the only ones who think so. The fireman thought the same.

“You deserve praise and claps from all of us. We respect you, and sincerely, thank you. May God bless your with good health for your contributions.”

We cannot imagine the delay if no one was willing to make way for the fire truck, or if the kind rider didn’t spend his valuable time controlling the traffic just for the fire truck. You can watch the clip below.

There are still kind people who are willing to go the extra mile to help. It’s just a matter of how lucky we are to encounter them.
