With the arrival of the vaccines nearing, we are hopeful that the tides can be turned on the pandemic situation in our country.

This third wave started in October 2020 and it has caused multiple changes in law and restrictions. One of the most notable ones is definitely the MCO 2.0.

The Defence Minister Dato’ Sri Ismail Sabri has taken to a press conference to address several things concerning MCO 2.0 on 16 February.

In his press conference, he said that the MCO will be extended to 4 March for several states. They are Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, Penang, and Johor. As for other states (Sabah, Pahang, Negeri Sembilan, Terengganu, Kelantan, Perak, Melaka, Kedah, Labuan and Putrajaya), the MCO will be converted to a CMCO while Perlis will be under RMCO.

Stay tuned for more updates!
