JUST IN: CMCO In Selangor & KL Extended Until 14 January 2021

The number of Covid-19 cases in Malaysia has been fluctuating with Selangor and Kuala Lumpur recording extremely high number of positive cases on almost a daily basis. In fact, every district in the Klang Valley has been declared as a red zone.

In his press conference today (28 December), Defence Minister, Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob announced that the Conditional Movement Control Order in Selangor and Kuala Lumpur will be extended until 14 January 2021.

The minister explained that this is because the cases in Selangor and KL doesn’t seem to be showing a sign of reduction. The CMCO extension will apply for all districts and areas in Selangor including Sabak Bernam and Hulu Selangor.
