Among the 17 new confirmed cases, six of them are foreigners.

According to Dr Noor Hisham, there are currently 1,247 cases that are active.

Unfortunately, one death case has been reported today. The Covid-19 death toll in Malaysia had been added up to 113.

The 113th death case involved a 53-year-old woman who had cancer and hypertension. She was one of the medical personnel under the Ministry of Health in Sabah.

The good news is that 73 patients have recovered today, bringing the total of recovery to 5,512 cases.
