In a recent press briefing, US President Donald J. Trump made a bold and controversial statement, claiming that the world would “lose its pulse” without the United States.
“Without the United States, everything in the world would die. It’s true. It’s so powerful, it’s big,” Trump declared.
He credited himself for building that power, while blaming former President Joe Biden and his administration for “degenerating” the progress made during Trump’s first term. Despite this, Trump said he had rebuilt the country’s strength faster than he expected.
“We’re the hottest, we’re the best, financially,” he added.

Trump also emphasised the role of tariffs in boosting the US economy, calling them the ultimate “war settler” and a tool that gave America strong negotiating power. He claimed, “I settled seven wars, and numerous of those wars were because of trade.”
Trump responded to his “death”
During the same briefing, Trump addressed bizarre rumors that he had died over the Labour Day weekend. The speculation arose after a brief absence from public appearances and circulated photos showing bruising on his hand.
“I didn’t do anything for two days, and they said, ‘There must be something wrong with him,’” Trump said, dismissing the rumors as “fake news.”
“I was very active over the weekend. I went out to visit some people at the club that I own pretty nearby on the Potomac River,” he added.
He contrasted his visibility with that of President Biden, saying, “You wouldn’t see him, and nobody ever said there was anything wrong with him. But we know he wasn’t in the greatest of shape.”

Trump also allegedly threatened to bomb the sh*t out of Moscow and Beijing in a previously leaked audio, in which Trump warned Russia and China not to invade Ukraine and Taiwan, respectively.
