Now that we’re in 2021, basic names just won’t do anymore.

Three siblings in Gersik, Indonesia were given rather unique names, in commemoration of how their parents first met.

According to Tribun News, all three of them have ‘Dot Com’ in their names because their parents met online.

Their names are Salsabila Shofwah Alamak Dot Com, Mustaghfirin Nazhmi Ramdhan Dot Com, and Daffa Fawwaz Robbani Dot Com.

“My parents shared, that they met on social media using a chatting platform called Alamak.com in 1999,” shared Ramadhan.

In the beginning, they felt embarrassed by their names as their peers would make fun of them.

“At first when I was younger, I felt ashamed to use my name but as I grew, my name became something to be proud of,” he added.

It’s so nice to see how they’ve taken to embracing their unique names. After all, during this day and age, it’s better to stand out than to blend in.
