A lot of times, people assume that having a pet is like having a child who can’t talk back to you.
But that’s not the case at all, as oftentimes, pets use non-verbal cues to communicate with their owners.
The Husky Paws Facebook page took to their profile to showcase one of these non-verbal cues, which is called head pressing.
Attention pet owners.

Head Pressing is when cats and dogs compulsively press their heads against a wall or other surfaces, and no, it’s not their cute way of showing their discontent with you, guilt or merajuk-ing.
“Cats and dogs do this when they are suffering from a terrible headache. They are suffering so much that they need to press their heads against the wall,” Husky Paws shared in their posting.
In fact, when you see your pet doing this, you should quickly take them to the vet!
“Some owners may find this behaviour funny but it has a medical reason. Due to damage to the nervous system, animals act like this. The causes can be from toxic poisoning, a disease of the fore-brain, a tumour in the head, an injury after an accident or so forth,” they added.
Other animals that display Head Pressing are goats, horses and cows.
Hence, the next time you see your pet doing this, picking up your phone and recording it may not be the best reaction. It’s best to take them to the vet immediately!
