The man who had been raping his own daughter has been charged with an additional nine counts of sexual offences on top of the 41 counts of raping, sodomising and molesting his underage daughter that he was charged with yesterday (10 November).

The nine new charges include having unnatural sexual intercourse and sexual assault with his then 14-year-old daughter between 3am and 3.30pm at the end of September 2019 and 29 October of the same year, reported Berita Harian.

“I plead not guilty”, said the 42-year-old businessman when the charge against him was read out by an interpreter before Judge Nor Hazani Hamzah today (11 November).

The charges against him was made in accordance with Section 377C of the Penal Code and Section 14 (a) of the Sexual Offenses Against Children Act 2017, read in conjunction with Section 16 (1) of the same act, which provides for a maximum jail term of 20 years and whipping.

Previously, Deputy Public Prosecutor, S Sangitaa, did not offer any bail to the accused and objected to any bail application as the accused had committed serious offences.

“The victim in this case is only 15 years old and the accused’s biological child,” she said.

“It is feared that if the bail is allowed, the accused will disturb the victim and escape.”

On 1 November, the victim was caught breaching the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) at Terminal Bersepadu Selatan (TBS) as she was trying to run away from her house in Bukit Antarabangsa. She had intended to travel to Kuala Nerang, Kedah to be reunited with her biological mother.

The police then discovered that the girl was being raped by her own father on multiple occasions.
