As we grow, developing emotions and feelings for the opposite sex is inevitable (unless you’re a robot). Remember the good ol’ days when some of us used to give, or receive love letters from our crushes?

We might cringe to look back at the memories but jokes aside, what happens if your kids receive a love letter at school? Malaysian mother, Nabila shared on her TikTok account @nabila_ahmad90 and revealed an anonymous love letter that she found, which was dedicated to her son, who is only 11.

“I like another person but I like you too”

The love letter was penned by a secret admirer who addressed herself simply as “secret”, and she was blunt about her emotions towards Nabila’s son, and someone else.

“Hey, I want to tell you that I actually like another person but at the same time, I like you a little, too. I don’t know who to choose but are you going to accept me?”

It seems that the secret admirer harbors feelings for 2 people at the same time but she is still considering Nabila’s son, who had a straightforward response.

Let’s just say, he’s enjoying his single life at the time being (not to mention he’s a little too young to be in a romantic relationship).

“Honestly, you should go for someone else because I want to be single all the time.”

Simple, straightforward. Nabila’s son wasn’t going to waste her time.

In a brief conversation with WORLD OF BUZZ, Nabila said she found the love letter when she was decorating her son’s classroom.

“Every classroom has this committee where parents will clean and decorate the classroom with their kids.”

Nabila also told WORLD OF BUZZ that her son only responded to the letter partially.

“He only wrote until the ‘single’ part. The rest was added by his friends as a prank.”

What do you think of this love letter? Back then, have you ever received (or given) one?
