A recent TikTok video has gone viral following Manchester United’s visit to Malaysia for their match against the ASEAN All-Stars.
In the clip, one of the Manchester United players was seen flipping his middle finger while getting off the team bus and walking past the crowd in Kuala Lumpur after their defeat on May 29 (Thursday).

Supporters were chanting his name
According to Berita Harian, Amad Diallo came on as a second-half substitute during Manchester United’s 1-0 loss.
After the defeat, the players were booed and jeered by fans. United manager Ruben Amorim, whose team finished 15th in the Premier League, said the squad shouldn’t avoid facing their supporters.
In a video shared by a fan on social media, Amad was seen walking past a group of supporters chanting his name before raising his middle finger, seemingly directed at the local crowd.

“I don’t regret what I did”
In response to the backlash, Amad addressed the incident on X, saying he had no regrets as he was allegedly reacting to an insult directed at his mother.
While he acknowledged that he shouldn’t have made an obscene hand gesture toward fans, he wrote:
“I have respect for people, but not for the one who insults my mother. I shouldn’t have reacted like that, but I don’t regret what I did. We had a great time in Malaysia with good people.”

Another player was spotted doing the same gesture
Meanwhile, in a separate incident, another Manchester United winger, Alejandro Garnacho, was also caught making a similar obscene gesture.
Following United’s first match of the tour, Alejandro was seen flipping off the camera as he walked off the pitch at the National Stadium.
Later, during a photo session with two fans, both Amad and Alejandro were once again seen making the same offensive hand gesture while posing with the group.
