“I don’t need your money” – M’sians Praise PDRM Officer for Refusing to Take Bribe from a Foreigner!

Bribery is pretty common in Malaysia these days, especially with more and more foreigners coming in. Integrity is rare, but when we do see someone with it, it really amazes us.

In a recent video shared by @update11111, a PDRM officer can be seen stopping a foreigner who daringly made an attempt to bribe him.

The foreigner tried slipping some cash to the officer

In the video, a foreigner was seen stopped by a PDRM officer and makes and attempt to bribe him by slipping money to him in order to avoid a summons.

The officer refused the bribe, showing his integrity and highlighting concerns about how bold foreigners have become in trying to bribe the authorities.

“I don’t need your money”

As the police officer writes down the details of the offense, the foreigner daringly took out a some amount of money and attempts to bribe him with cash.

However, the officer refuses the bribe and sternly gave the foreigner a warning saying that he will be arrested if he tries to offer money again.

“Don’t try to give me money, okay? You can pay the summons at any police traffic office. I don’t need your money,” the officer warned.
