We all have those super cringy and embarrassing statuses that we posted on Facebook during our high school. Facebook does a great job with it by showing it to us every single day on the memories tab.

Trust us when we say that we have tried a million different ways to take it all down but it has just proven to be too much of an effort.

Well, not anymore as Facebook has announced that they will be allowing us to delete all these nightmare statuses in batches. To do just that, you will have to use the Facebook application on your phone.

Go to ‘Settings and Privacy’ then tap on settings.

Scroll all the way down until you find ‘Activity Log’. Then tap on it.

In Activity Log, you can see all your posts and reactions. Tap on Manage Activity, Your Posts and to go back in time, click on Filter to select a start and end date.

You are now looking back at all the cringy posts. Click on select all to send all of them to the recycle bin.

Once in the recycle bin, it will sit there for 30 days and after that time period, it will be permanently deleted!

If you feel like you would want to keep a particular status, then you can always restore it within the 30 days time-frame. However, if you want to keep it but do not want it to appear on your timeline, then you can always archive it.

PS: Doing it on the normal Facebook application might be a little glitchy, so we changed to the Facebook Lite application and it works like a charm! We have tried it with the desktop Facebook but it seems like the function has not arrived there yet!

Time to spend the entire day deleting those statuses!
