According to Utusan, the incident happened at around 1pm and was witnessed by a nurse. South Klang district police chief ACP Shamsul Amar confirmed the incident and said the nurse had placed the equipment and her power bank on a table before going into the room for a while.

“When she came back, she realised all the items including three glucose meters and an oxygen meter were stolen by two individuals who escaped in a white Nissan Almera. The suspects also hit a few vehicles and the safety pole at the clinic.

“This case will be investigated under Section 380 of the Penal Code for stealing in a building,” Shamsul said.

This incident first went viral on WhatsApp yesterday and the circulating message claimed that the suspects were armed with a knife and a parang when stealing from the clinic. At the time of writing, the police are still investigating and identifying the suspects.

Crime can happen to anyone, anytime. Stay safe guys!
