If you’re new to Malaysia, then the very Malaysian practice of having an open house right outside your house (if you live in a semi-d or terrace house la) is very common. And to accommodate guests, usually the host of the party will have a tent set up on the street outside their house, with tables and chairs underneath so everyone has a place to enjoy the food. It’s technically not legal, but usually, most people don’t mind it.
But in a video that has recently gone viral over Malaysian social media, it appears that not everyone can close one eye and pretend that it’s an okay thing to do.
The video, which is around two minutes and 18 seconds long, shows an altercation that had happened between a man driving a pick-up truck and the hosts of what is assumed to be a wedding banquet that was being held across the width of a street.
The driver of the pick-up truck, dressed in pink, proceeds to step out of his vehicle after arguing with what is assumed to be guests and members of the family who were attending the banquet from his window. And once he steps out, all hell breaks loose.
Speaking in what sounds to be a Fujian dialect, the furious man proceeds to yell at the banquet guests, going as far as to curse their mothers!
As if that wasn’t enough, the man then tries to drive into the wedding banquet and run into the tables with his pick-up truck. It’s one thing to be angry, but that could very well have resulted in serious injury!
It wasn’t until the police were called that this very angry man decided to finally retreat. Damn, he must have been really pissed!
Regardless of whoever is in the wrong here, we don’t think driving your car into someone’s banquet is warranted. What do you guys think?
