A blessed life is not all about wealth but little details like a good friend is also a fortune. You know you have a “friend for life” when the person is willing to help you under any circumstances.
Sajat may have found shelter and a new home in Australia but her friendship with Malaysian entrepreneur, Dato’ Aliff Shukri remains intact. On Aliff’s recent TikTok post, @papalaris, the businessman shows his conversation with Sajat via video call, who wanted to thank him for getting her father a brand new wheelchair.
Aliff had a video call with Sajat to show her the process of getting the new wheelchair for her father. Aliff also recorded the video of Sajat’s father sitting in the new wheelchair, which he sent to Sajat via WhatsApp. Aliff and his wife also took the time to have a chat with Sajat’s father, and Sajat was beyond grateful for her friend’s generous offer.
“No matter what happens, you’ll always be my friend. I pray the best for you,” Aliff told Sajat.
Sajat responded by expressing her gratitude and said the new wheelchair was intended to be a surprise for her father. She thanked Aliff for making it happen.
“This is what I can do for my beloved family who is far from me but stays close to my heart.”
Sajat also said that despite the distance, she is still in contact with her family members and friends via social media.
In the meantime, Sajat, who found a new life as a drag queen in Australia admitted that it saddened her to watch the video which Aliff sent to her earlier. She may be far from home (and misses home) but she’s doing everything she can to give the best for her family and make her parents smile while they are still alive.
“Dad, please forgive me. You’re the best dad in the world. I love you, mom and dad.”

Tough times reveal your true friends and fortunately, Sajat still has someone to rely on to help her family. Does this remind you of a good friend of yours?
