Imagine walking around the beautiful buildings in Kuala Lumpur without having to worry about being run over by pesky Myvi drivers and Mat Rempits. Well, this might just happen soon!

DBKL has released a statement that 10 roads will be pedestrian friendly in a span of five years with five major roads in Kuala Lumpur including Jalan Raja and Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman (TAR) to be pedestrianised this year.

As reported by Malay Mail, Datuk Nor Hisham Ahmad Dahlan elaborated that DBKL is planning to execute the plan on a few roads in Bangsar, Brickfields and Bukit Bintang. He said,

“We will be revisiting Jalan TAR’s trial run that was suspended last year. Our vision is to see it connected to Jalan Raja until the intersection at Leboh Pasar Besar.”
