Known for his work in ‘Ninja Hattori-kun’, ‘Kaibutsu-kun’ and ‘The Laughing Salesman’, his most notable creation to Malaysians may very well be ‘Doraemon’, which he produced alongside his childhood friend, Fujiko F. Fujio. In partnership with his friend, the duo named themselves Fujiko Fujio, though they later parted ways.

He will be missed by an entire generation who grew up with his work.
