Family entertainment outlets will be allowed to open starting 15 July, says Defence Minister Dato’ Sri Ismail Sabri in his latest press conference. This includes arcades, indoor funfairs, edutainment centres, kids’ gym playgrounds in malls and family karaoke centres.

This comes after taking into account the more than 3,000 workers involved as well as the contribution of RM500 million to national income.

Of course, standard operating procedures must be followed including social distancing, sanitisation and limited people per entry based on the space available. Guests must download the MySejahtera app.

However, bars, pubs and clubs are still NOT allowed to open.
