A recent video making rounds online shows an uncle at a workshop scolding a worker over the noise from revving bikes and riding dangerously around the area.

“Do you think your dad owns the road?”

In the video, the uncle is heard scolding the workshop workers over the loud noise caused by revving the motorcycle while testing it on the road.

The uncle continued to question one of the workers about why he was testing the motorcycle at high speed, explaining that many people, especially kids, use the road.

“Listen, don’t test the motorcycle at high speed on the road. Do you understand?” the uncle said to the worker.

The uncle took out his knife

In the video, things took a sudden turn when the uncle, frustrated by not getting a response, slapped the worker, which led to a fight.

After being slapped, the worker pushed the uncle away, causing the uncle to pull out a knife and try to chase the worker, who was attempting to escape.

Eventually, the worker managed to grab the knife by pinning the uncle to the floor, with help from other workers who retrieved the knife.

Netizens quickly flooded the comment section with their thoughts and reactions.

No Support

“Just scold him. Why bring a knife? That could get you charged with attempted murder. Maybe next time just argue verbally.”

Not Support 2

“Even though the uncle was angry with the behaviour of the motorcyclists, somehow he was the one who made the first attack and brought a weapon. If he had stabbed, it would have been with the intention to kill.”

Not Support 3

“The knife had to be taken before he started talking calmly. Otherwise, he was all tough and arrogant.”

Support 4

“The word ‘sorry’ is a magic word. Never hesitate to say it because that word can free the situation and anger.”

However, some netizens even praised the uncle for his actions.

Support

“I support the uncle. Mat rempits are really bad. If they weren’t making noise or speeding, the uncle would not get angry?”

Support 2 1

“The conclusion is, riding a motorbike like a crazy person, speeding, and making loud noises in a public housing area is ridiculous and should be hated by everyone.”

Support 3

“Give the uncle his knife back.”
