Do you have an elderly mother at home who’s always alone and in need of care and accompaniment?

Fret not, MakCik Travels is here to help your her complete her daily errands and hospital visits!

It’s an e-hailing company set up by Dr Sazlina Kay last November to support women, elderly or the disabled, and also the ones who’re afraid to travel alone. Their objective is to accompany them to the destinations of choice, safely!

But what’s so special about their service?

They offer a chaperoning service specifically for females, called MakCik Chaperone. Other than helping them buy groceries, they can also accompany them if they feel lonely.

If you’re wondering about the rates, MakCik Chaperone charges RM30 for the first hour and RM10 for each subsequent hour.

Catering for better user experience, MakCik Travels can be booked via WhatsApp so it’ll be easier for makciks to use! Additionally, their kind service is offered 24/7 to ease the users’ needs, although they can only be contacted from 8am to 11pm daily.

But that’s not all.

MakCik Chaperone also offers services for children who need a lift or company to visit attraction sites, and even the ones who need shadow aide in school.

Can it be more perfect?

Ladies can also go sightseeing with the help of MakCik Explorer who are happy to drive them to multiple sites in Malaysia. So far, the available sightseeing locations are Putrajaya, Kuala Lumpur and Melaka.

Although they are trained personnel, MakCik Travels had stated that they are absolutely NOT housemaids, nurses, therapists, or personal carers.

This definitely sounds like the perfect service for women who are in need. Kudos to Dr Sazlina Kay for this beautiful idea to make women’s lives better!
