Despite his ongoing trial and some criticisms from the public, Ebit Lew continues his mission to help the needy as much as he can.
A Foodpanda rider, who is also a struggling single mother with her blind child garnered attention on social media when an image of them circulated online, gaining the sympathy of many Malaysians who have expressed a desire to help the pair. Ebit Lew, however, may have been one step ahead of those netizens.
In his Instagram post last night (November 3), the local preacher revealed that he had met the mother-daughter duo, and he has given them A LOT. After bringing them out for a meal, Ebit Lew surprised them with a brand new Perodua Viva, which will undoubtedly ease her duties in a major way. The brand-new vehicle was not the only new thing that the pair had received.
Ebit Lew then revealed that 11 months ago he found a new home for the woman and her child and he is still paying the rental for both of them. He tried to ease her burden by attempting to find a caretaker for the special child but to no avail.
“The child is hyperactive and she doesn’t want anyone else. Some of the caretaker couldn’t take care of her and she needs her mom 24/7.”
The woman then told Ebit Lew that her late mother had always wanted to see him but fate never allowed both of them to meet. Regardless, the woman said that her late mother constantly prayed for his well-being.
Aside from her duty as a food delivery rider, Ebit Lew said that the woman occasionally delivers homemade curry mee and laksa upon orders.
“She can cook too. With the new car, she can now deliver her food easily”, he added.

At the time of writing, we’ve lost count of how many people have had the luck of getting helped by the preacher, but we’re sure that he will continue to help as much as he can. Hopefully, the new car and lodging would ease the mother’s burden and things would get better for them.
