Just 4 months ago, Domino’s Pizza in Penang received an order from a customer who used a fake ID and included racist remarks in the request section. While it seemed like we had seen the end of it, we spoke too soon…

A new case has come to light recently shared by an X user, involving similar circumstances, where yet another unidentified customer placed an order at the same pizza company, Domino’s Pizza, this time at a branch in Sarawak, and included some remarks.

The remark contained Islamophobia and offensive words

The remarks included comments mocking Islam with vulgarities, which could be sensitive and disturbing for some. Just a heads-up, what this so-called customer said might not be very pleasant.

The incident escalated into something even more complicated when the fake customer used someone else’s actual phone number to place the order.

The customer used a fake address and name

The owner of the phone number (let’s call him Jason) was then contacted by someone asking about the order. In the WhatsApp conversation, Jason explained that while the number was indeed his, the name and home address on the receipt didn’t match his at all.

“This isn’t my order. The name and address don’t belong to me either. I don’t know who is using my number. I already called the pizza place to inform them it’s not me.”

The conversation went on to reveal that he is actually from Perak, which is nowhere near Sarawak. He also shared a police report he filed regarding the incident.

He’s been receiving threats for something he claims he didn’t do

According to the police report filed by Jason, he explained how he received a picture of the receipt from someone, which displayed his phone number.

“I have denied the fact that I made the purchase order of the said pizza and that I don’t know the owner of the pizza place at all.”

He expressed that he now feels traumatised and scared about the incident, especially since he has been receiving threats from various people due to the racist remarks.

“My reason for making this police report is that I’m concerned for the safety of myself and my family if anything happens later.”

While we’re not sure if the case has been resolved yet, we’re just hoping they catch the culprit soon so the victim can finally have some peace of mind. Stay tuned for more updates!
