A wine bar is a great pick if you’re after good drinks, minus the overwhelming crowds and blaring music. Wine isn’t just something you drink on its own, but it’s about the full experience of how wine and food come together.
Opened in April 2024, Juno has already earned an impressive 4.7-star rating on Google (at the time of writing). But what exactly sets this bar apart?
No time to waste, here’s our honest review.

A place that we can call home
After a long day of work, it’s hard to ignore the strong urge to unwind with a good drink. (Staying in with a glass? We’ve done plenty of that.) But the true spirit of wine is social, as it brings people together.

Located in Bangsar, Juno feels like a warm hug after a long day. The space is dimly lit, modern, and surprisingly spacious, which just makes it all the better!
A few things to note:
- Doughnut shop by day, wine bar by night
- Parking can be a little tricky (but totally doable)
- Both indoor and outdoor seating are available
- Smoking’s allowed, but just be cool and take it outside

Sink your teeth into some seriously affordable dishes!
1. Sirloin Steak Frites (RM88)
Let’s face it, no one wants to enjoy a great steak only to end up breaking the bank. Luckily for us, we got to sip on a glass of red wine that paired perfectly with their Sirloin Steak Frites.
This 230g grass-fed Angus sirloin is lean and has a firmer bite, served with chimichurri butter, crispy fries, and a refreshing citrus honey slaw.

2. Chimichurri Prawn Gnocchi (RM40)
Their Chimichurri Prawn Gnocchi was hands down our top pick! Soft, pillowy gnocchi paired with sweet white sea prawns.
If you’re a cheese lover, there’s no need to ask for extra because they’ve gone all out with a generous sprinkle of Parmigiano Reggiano. You’ll also find a punchy chimichurri sauce and crunchy cashew nuts hidden underneath as a surprise.

3. Verde Chicken Chop (RM38)
Who would’ve thought peanuts and chicken chop could make such a great combo? But their Verde Chicken Chop definitely proved us wrong!
Served with a rich peanut purée, zesty chimichurri, and a refreshing citrus honey slaw on the side, it’s a bold twist on a classic dish. The chicken was slightly on the salty side for our liking, but overall, it still hit the spot.

4. Pepetama (RM34)

5. Juno Oysters (RM35)
You’ll also be surprised by the addition of tiny sago pearls, adding an unexpected texture, while a drizzle of cili padi oil brings just the right amount of heat to tie everything together. 10/10, would eat it again!

6. Hot Donut Balls (RM18)
Served in 4 pieces, their Hot Donut Balls were freshly fried and served warm with a dollop of whipped cream, basil strawberry jam, and a touch of extra virgin olive oil in the centre. This one’s definitely well put together!

You’ll find over 90 organic wines from France, Italy, and Spain on the menu, with prices starting around RM200 and going up to over RM1,000. So if you’re looking for a laid-back spot to enjoy a drink, book your table at Juno!
