Held on 10 March, the programme aimed to strengthen friendship and strategic cooperation between the two agencies in ensuring the safety and sovereignty of Malaysia-Singapore waters are maintained.

According to the caption of the video, cooperation is important in addressing various security threats in border waters, especially with the increase in boat movements during festive seasons.

“This cooperation is also crucial in tackling various security threats in border waters such as cross-border crime, smuggling of contraband, the entry of illegal immigrants, and the rise in boat movements during festive seasons,” they wrote.
