M’sian Goes Dumpster Diving After Misplacing Expensive New Teeth Retainers
You’ve double checked your retainer cause, you’ve triple checked your handbag and quadruple times checked your mouth, it is simply tome to face facts you’ve just lost your retainer, again!
This is a reality that more retainer wearers must face, and for this young lady, she was made to face this experience in the worst way possible. Taking to TikTok, drrwhed shared her experience having to dumpster dive to retrieve her newly bought retainer.

Her efforts to search for her retainer caught the attention of a security guard nearby who asked the pair what they were doing, rummaging through rubbish bins a the food court.
“The security guard was kind enough to give us plastic gloves to help our search.”
“At first I was frustrated because I could not find my retainer. It was not cheap to replace too.”
“One kakak even questioned why I was ‘dumpster diving’ when I am all dressed up.”
After searching in a few rubbish bins, they finally came upon a LaoLao cup they were enjoying earlier and finally found her retainer wrapped in tissue paper.
In the comments section, netizens who responded to the video can relate to the trouble this young lady had to go through to retrieve her retainer.
Garnering more than 954k views, 72k likes and 1k comments on TikTok, for those of us who do not wear retainers can only imagine the scare of losing something that can set you back upwards of RM500!
Let’s hope that retainer wearers out there will practice caution when taking it off in public.
