Having pets is a long term commitment. They are not just animals but these furry creatures more often than not, becomes family. With that said, just like any child, they need close supervision or they might get in trouble.

A puppy got lucky thanks to a quick-thinking delivery man who saved it from potential death. The incident happened in China and from the video shared by SCMP, initially, we can see the poor puppy entering a lift on its own, dragging its leash.

However, trouble began when the long leash got snagged by the door of the lift. As the lift started to move, it pulled the dog upwards by its collar, causing the canine to flail in panic.

Fortunately for the puppy, a delivery man was there and thanks to his swift thinking, he hugged the dog and detached its leash in an instant. Then after calming the puppy, he gave it to the guards to be returned to the owner.

Watch the video here:

What we can learn from this incident is that we should never leave our pets to move around without any supervision. One mistake could lead to the demise of an innocent creature. Let’s be more mindful of our furry kids, ok?
