Despite the extension of CMCO in Kuala Lumpur and Selangor, certain SOPs have been relaxed including lifting the interstate and interdistrict travel ban.

In his press conference today, Defence Minister, Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob announced that the ruling to allow about 1 million employees of the government and private sector in the security and management division from Kuala Lumpur and Selangor to work from home will still be in force.

This is because these states are still considered red zones with a high number of cases and still under the CMCO. When the reporter asked about the other states under RMCO, the minister said that he still has not been informed about this situation.
