Dedicated teachers are a rare breed but that doesn’t mean they don’t exist.

Recently, GPS Bestari shared a story about a teacher who still imparted some “last minute” knowledge to his students despite him lying sick on the hospital bed. So dedicated!

Zakwan is a teacher from Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Agama (SMKA) Chenor, Pahang who teaches Economics and Business Studies. However, the 49-year-old suddenly fell ill and was suspected of having a problem with his spinal cord.

Nevertheless, that didn’t stop Zakwan from performing his duties as a teacher because he took the trouble to teach his students before they sat for their SPM examination.

In the pictures shared by GPS Bestari, the students can be seen jotting down notes as Zakwan gives his lecture whilst lying on the hospital bed. It was noted that students who came for his tutoring are from two of his classes which he taught in SMKA.

Needless to say, Zakwan is certainly an amazing, dedicated teacher and his students are lucky to have him. Hopefully, this will inspire other teachers to perform well in their field too. To Zakwan, kudos cikgu!
