Last week, it was reported that a Manchester United player, Amad Diallo, had flipped off fans in Kuala Lumpur following the team’s defeat at the pre-season match against the ASEAN All-Stars, allegedly due to someone insulting his mother.
However, Malaysians quickly came down hard on him, claiming that no one disrespected Diallo’s mother and that he should have more appreciation for his fans.

Now, former Manchester United player and football GOAT (Greatest Of All Time), David Beckham, is speaking out.
“You have to represent the crest.”
According to a report by Express UK, Beckham revealed he “doesn’t like what he’s seeing” and believes some players are behaving in an “unacceptable” manner.

“I don’t like seeing what’s happening at the club. It’s true that it’s the pitch that matters, but I see a lot of things that are not acceptable to me as a fan and a lover of Manchester United. You have to represent the crest. I’ve seen a lot of things where players didn’t act in the right way,”
“We understood what it meant to play for Manchester United. We understood what the badge meant. Everywhere we travelled, whether in Europe or Asia, we respected the fans. We respected the fact that they came and paid money to see us, to get an autograph or to take pictures. You have to respect that,” he said.
Another incident that has gone viral was when Manchester United players Diallo, as well as Alejandro Garnacho and Ayden Heaven, were seen asking Malaysians to pay for their e-scooter rides while they were in Kuala Lumpur.
