A Malaysian woman’s dream of seeing South Korean rapper, G-Dragon (GD), live in Malaysia may have been shattered completely after she accidentally spent money on the wrong tickets!

Taking to her XiaoHongShu page, Piann Lee shared how she mistakenly purchased American saxophonist and composer Kenny G tickets when she thought she was buying tickets to see G-Dragon.

She wrote, “An incident of grabbing GD concert tickets. I thought I was lucky! I got in, selected my seats and paid! But, when I received the (confirmation) email, I found out that I had bought Kenny G (tickets), not GD (tickets). I made myself a fool.”

The 2 tickets to see Kenny G’s Timeless Legacy tour in Malaysia cost her RM875.44!

Laughs all around

Many people were very amused by her mistake and thanked her for giving them a good laugh.

“HAHAHA, did you not wonder why the tickets were so easy to purchase?”

“Seeing this post relieved my stress and sadness of not being able to grab (G-Dragon) tickets.”

“I’m sorry, I know I shouldn’t laugh but this is so funny!”

Kenny G, it is then!

Piann Lee has since taken to the comment section of her post to point out that many have asked if she’ll sell the Kenny G tickets. Surprisingly, she plans to do the opposite and will attend the Kenny G concert instead.

“I didn’t expect so many people would laugh at me. Please don’t message me on whether I’ll sell the Kenny G tickets. I didn’t sell them because I initially planned to attend the G-Dragon concert with my colleagues, since my husband isn’t interested in G-Dragon,”

“Now that I’ve bought Kenny G tickets, I’ll go and watch his concert with my husband. I’m still very happy because my husband is interested (in Kenny G),” she explained.

Good on her for making the best out of the situation!

What would you have done if you were in her shoes? Do feel free to share your thoughts in the comment section.
