In the replies to the tweet, Malaysians were divided on the incident, with some criticising the cyclists for dangerously biking on the main road while others said that the driver should’ve been more careful and not hit the group.

One netizen claimed that the driver was not at fault because the cyclists shouldn’t use the road and instead cycle at designated cycling tracks.

Meanwhile, another netizen said that while the cyclists were at fault for biking on the road, it doesn’t mean that the driver could just crash into them as the individual may face legal action for the accident.
