It’s Day 30 of the Movement Control Order and how’s everyone holding up? If you’ve forgotten how tar road feels, join the club!

Whenever you feel down about MCO, remember that what you’re doing is saving the lives of millions so pat yourself on the back. To prove this, yesterday, we recorded the lowest number of cases since mid-March!

HOWEVER, there are still people who for God-knows what reason refuse to obey the MCO. For these people, MCO is also Cuti-Cuti Malaysia and the perfect time for them to loiter around and violate the MCO. They don’t feel any remorse towards our police and military who are working day and night to keep people safe.

Well, from now on, we don’t have to call those who violate MCO “those people”. Instead, a new term has been created for them and we can call them COV-IDIOTS! Very apt indeed. And yes, this is a thing!

What’s a Cov-Idiot?

In relation to the Covid-19 pandemic, basically a Cov-Idiot is someone who ignores the warnings regarding public health or safety. Not only that, but a Cov-Idiot is also a person who hoards goods, denying them from their neighbours. Examples are like:

See, these are just a few examples of Cov-Idiots. These people are also the same group who will complain about the length of MCO and yet will violate the MCO itself. The lesson from all of this is that we shouldn’t be Cov-Idiots and just STAY HOME!

Have you encountered any Cov-Idiots? Let us know in the comment section!
