“Couldn’t manage his temper” – M’sian Man Physically Assaults 3yo Son for Urinating on Sofa

A troubling incident occurred in a residential area in Lembah Subang, resulting in the arrest of a 29-year-old man after an altercation with his wife and three-year-old son.

According to Sinar Harian, the Petaling Jaya District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Mohamad Fakhruddin Abdul Hamid, stated that the upsetting incident happened at the family’s home at approximately 11:50 AM.

“The investigation found that the suspect’s son urinated on the sofa located in the living room of the said house.”

Authorities’ investigations indicate that, in a burst of anger, the suspect physically assaulted both his son and wife when he reportedly couldn’t manage his temper after the sofa incident.

The seriousness of the situation led to prompt action by law enforcement, and the suspect was apprehended by a team of police officers the next day.

The suspect is currently held in custody as authorities conduct a comprehensive investigation. Assistant Commissioner Mohamad Fakhruddin mentioned that the case is being examined based on the provisions of Section 323 of the Penal Code, Section 18A of the Domestic Violence Act, and Section 31(1)(a) of the Child Act 2001.
