We were recently hit with the news that Singapore recorded a shocking increase in Covid-19 cases despite the fact that they have stricter prevention laws than we do.

Hence, we could only deduce that there are stubborn eggs within their community who refuse to abide by the law, such as the lady who ignored and filmed the police when they approached her for not wearing a mask.

Well, it looks like the lady now has a partner in crime, as showcased on the We Are Malaysians Facebook page.

An elderly woman in Singapore can be seen sitting at a food court and enjoying a bowl of food. When approached by concerned citizens, the lady argued back, adding that she doesn’t mind getting locked up because she has money.

???????‍♂?‍♂?‍♂Singapore now facing new wave of Covid 19…Stubborn Ah Ma, just fine me $300 dollars, never mind I have money, as long as I can eat outside enough…老人家都很有钱,罚款新币300没有关系,只要可以在外面吃就可以了…#COVID19 #StayAtHome#DudukRumah #呆在家里

They wrote, “Singapore is now facing a new wave of Covid-19. Stubborn Ah Ma said, ‘Just fine me 300SGD (RM923). Nevermind, I have money, as long as I can eat outside.'”

In the video, she also adds, “My back hurts and I walk slow” and claimed that she was being bullied by the concerned citizens.

It is understandable that as an elderly person, walking certain distances might not be easy but these rules have been set to protect everyone. Even if you have money to pay fines and get out of jail, what good is that money if you get infected?

We genuinely hope someone helps this aunty with her food and grocery purchases so that this doesn’t happen again.

What do you think about this? Let us know in the comment section.
