Hari Raya is a joyous celebration, and many children look forward to the festivities. They will receive duit raya, play with their peers, and eat yummy food.

Just recently, Dato Seri Vida’s daughter, Cik B said in her TikTok video that she wanted to know what it feels like to receive duit raya.

“This year I only received duit raya from 3 people, my uncles and aunties did not give it to me as they said that they are insecure. Please, whether it’s 1 or 2 ringgit or even just the envelope, I will accept it with gratitude.”

Further in the video, she says she just wants to feel more like a child, “I’m still young and want to feel like a child. I’ll only be an adult next year.”

She adds that she wants the feeling of it and the cash is actually subjective.

“You must have thought that I want duit raya of RM100 and more but I just want the feel of getting the duit raya in an envelope after I give my salam to someone.”

As a result, many have asked Cik B to give her banking QR code so that people can give her duit raya.

In an Instagram story, Cik B shows the notifications on her Maybank account and says that the number of people sending her duit raya, even if it’s 1 to 2 ringgit, has made her very happy and grateful.

Other Instagram stories show that she even received RM5,000 from one of them and says she will donate the duit raya to the needy.
