Every festive season, us Malaysians look forward to catching up with family members and loved ones, eating delicious food, playing with fireworks and going to open houses.

But let’s be real, another aspect we anticipate during festive holidays is getting Ang Paus or Duit Raya!

Netizen, ADINDATUDUNGSARUNG, took to her TikTok account to showcase how the children of her neighbourhood had gotten LOADS of Duit Raya as they stood by the roadside to wish those stuck in a traffic jam a Selamat Hari Raya and safe journey on their travels.

She wrote, “The intention was to wish a Selamat Hari Raya and safe journey to all. But, they never expected to get Duit Raya. Thank you to all of you who gave (Duit Raya to the kids). May you all be blessed abundantly.”

In her video, a group of kids could be seen standing by the road side outside of their house.

As they stood there, they waved and wished each car a Selamat Hari Raya and to drive safely on their journey, leading cars to stop briefly to give the children Duit Raya!

The kids later showed the amount of Ang Pau packets they received, and it’s A LOT!

It’s truly great to see the generosity of the general public.

We genuinely hope that the children put the money to good use!
