It has been long said pets are human’s best friend. But in China, pets are merely amusements.
Recently, a woman from Sichuan, China bought a cat from a pet shop but decided to return the cat just after 3 days. The reason being was she couldn’t afford to keep the cat due to financial constraints.
The pet shop owner refused to refund for the cat. Apparently, if the cat is healthy and alive, pet shop will not entertain any refund, and this has always been the rule of thumb in pet-selling business, reported Sinchew.
However, the pet shop owner did promised the lady to help her search for any potential buyer to get the cat off her hands.
For unknown reasons, the lady decided to skin the cat and leave the dead body outside the pet shop presumably to vent off her anger over the issue. Shortly after that, pictures of the cat owner and the skinned cat gone viral on social media in China.
Many netizens especially pet-lovers were furious and criticized her for skinning the cat.
“As a pet-lover, I swear to god I will show no mercy if I ever see you in person,” said a netizen.
“Can you please stop scolding her? I suggest you to straight away kill her,”commented another netizen.
Shortly after, the cold-blooded cat owner was identified, and even codenamed the ‘psychotic cat killer’ by netizens.
Her real name, date of birth, previous and current address, phone number and other personal details were exposed and circulated on WeChat by netizens.
Be it a cat or a person, they are living beings in this world. There is no need for cruelty if they do us no harm. Sadly, some humans do not see that.
