An unusual incident happened in Bangkok, Thailand, on February 10 when a bus was spotted hanging above the road, its front end tangled in some low-hanging cables.

The heavy vehicle’s left mirror got tangled in the cables

The bus driver’s left-wing mirror got caught in the cables when the bus slid off the road after crossing a bridge in Bangkok.

Bukkalo police, Poh Teck Tung rescuers, and electricity repair crews rushed to the scene on Taksin Road, near the Mahai Sawan intersection, around 11:45 PM.

The driver, Apinya, said she had just come off the Bangkok Bridge and was heading toward Chom Thong Road when the bus started sliding, and she lost control.

The bus had a driver, a conductor, and three passengers on board, but thankfully, there were no reports of any injuries.

A crane was used to lower it back down

The 34-year-old bus driver struggled to control the wheel, trying to keep the bus to the left and avoid hitting other vehicles. In the end, the left-wing mirror got caught on the low-hanging cables, lifting the front of the bus high off the ground.

When the bus driver got out of the bus, she saw what looked like a liquid stain on the road nearby, which seemed to be a mix of water and engine oil.

Repair crews removed the cables from the bus, and a crane was used to lower it back down, with no visible damage.
