Bus drivers are getting much flak these days following the rise in incidences involving irresponsible drivers and their questionable actions on social media.

But this surely takes the cake.

Taking to Facebook, netizen Azizul Thai shared his experience being abandoned at the side of the road, after the express bus he rode on decided to leave all of its passengers at an R&R nearby Juru.

Here is how the story goes.

“At 1.30 am, the express bus decided to leave its 40 passengers at R&R Juru.”

“We thought at the time that a replacement bus was on its way. Hence we did not mind the wait at first. It turns out that event until 6.30 am, the bus was nowhere to be seen. 40 of us were stuck there; most boarded the bus from Kuala Lumpur to Kuantan.”

So irresponsible!

Azizul mentions that those who wanted to make their way to Kuantan had to ask the assistance of the public to be sent to the nearest bus station in Taiping, while some hitchhiked all the way to Butterworth!

Here is a video of it.

Logically, if there were problems with the bus service, it is the company’s responsibility to inform its customers!

In his followup, Azizul mentions that a police report has been made. Hopefully, the company in question will receive the punishment it deserves for putting its customers in harm’s way.
