Budget 2023: RM100K & RM50 mil Will Be Allocated to Fix Potholes & Install Street Lights Respectively

Just today (February 24), PM10 tabled the Budget 2023 in Parliament.

Malfunction street lights and potholes are unfortunately still common issues in our country. Regardless, Anwar announced that an amount of RM100,000 will be allocated to each district for pothole repairs.

As for the street lights, RM50 million will be allotted for the immediate installation of street lights, especially in accident-prone areas for the safety of the road users.

Additionally, RM2.7 billion has been set aside to maintain and upgrade federal roads, and RM1.5bil is allocated to upgrade and build new rural roads.
