As Malaysians, some of us get scammed on a daily basis, but not by any Macau or Ponzi scams but by one of our most iconic cars of all time, the Perodua Kancil!

Kancil

Recently, a British expat living in Malaysia by the name of Andrew Martin has shared his thoughts which has resonated with Malaysians nationwide. On his LinkedIn profile, he stated:

“Malaysians, I hate to say this, but I have grown to dislike one of your automotive icons; The Perodua Kancil. I think it was designed just to inflict psychological torture!”

He further explained the reason behind his dislike for the iconic small car is a situation that he had to go through countless times when looking for parking.

“So many times after driving around the car park in malls like 1Utama or Mid Valley Megamall for 15 to 20 minutes to look for a parking space, I will finally see an open space.”

He further elaborated that when that happens, he will punch the air in excitement and race to the open parking space.

“Then, when I get to the parking space, I find a Perodua Kancil nicely tucked away out of sight and not visible until you get right up to the spot. Argh!!!?”

This post managed to garner a lot of attention from Malaysians.

Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, Andrew says he doesn’t have a problem with the Kancil.

“Hopefully, people realise that I don’t really have a problem with Kancils. I was just having some fun about a situation that seems to resonate with many people in Malaysia.”

Well, we’re sure many of us feel the same way! Let us know in the comments!
