Netizens commenting on the post expressed their gratitude towards Janis for saving the Shih Tzu.

The Shih Tzu, however, is not doing too well.

“It is currently admitted and has a high fever. It is old and has cataract problems. Blood tests were also carried out.”

The poor thing.

Whilst the story of how the dog ended up in the river remains a mystery, we sincerely hope that the Shih Tzu will find a good home soon.
