Nasi Lemak is every Malaysian’s all time favourite dish. Be it breakfast, lunch, dinner or as a snack, you can always count on Nasi Lemak to fill you up and satisfy you.

Boost Juice Malaysia just recently announced that they will be launching a Nasi Lemak smoothie for one day only, talk about jumping on the everlasting bandwagon! Nevertheless, we’re still a little curious to know how they actually plan to make a dish into a drink.

From the post they shared on Facebook, it seems like they’re not cutting down on any of the key ingredients. The true to Malaysians smoothie will be an ice blend of fresh cucumber, spinach, cooked rice, chilli flakes, coconut water, coconut milk and sorbet. Think refreshing but spicy!

Of course, here’s one thing to note though!

This drink is only available on the 1st April!

Malaysian netizens being the good sports that they are chimed in on the joke. A lot of people expressed their disappointment that the popular juice brand didn’t find a way to add peanuts, anchovies, eggs and sambal into the smoothie. Imagine being able to satisfy your cravings with a slurp!

Some even said, this could be a bigger joke – that Boost indeed made this smoothie with many thinking that it’d be fake! Talk about joke-ception!
