A Malaysian father in Penang received an unexpected call from his daughter’s ex-BF, who wanted something unexpected.

In his viral Facebook post, the father, Nelson shared voice notes that he received from his daughter’s former partner at midnight, who asked for RM30 – the last meal he paid for Nelson before the break-up, which was a plate of fried rice and some other food.

“You always drink alcohol, so I think you’ll be able to pay me back the money.”

The man was sure that Nelson was going to pay him the money and without any response from the father, he told Nelson to transfer the cash online and reminded him of the good things he had done for Nelson’s daughter.

“The money that I previously spent on your daughter, I’ll turn a blind eye on them.”

The persistent man wanted to make sure Nelson wouldn’t forget about the money, and he continuously highlighted the RM30 to Nelson.

“If you can’t bank in to me, you can just pass the cash to your daughter. I’ll collect from her at her workplace tomorrow.”

“You’re the MOST cheapskate man I’ve ever seen”

With that many voice notes spammed to Nelson, the father replied with only 1 voice note and made his intentions clear. He’s not going to pay him RM30 and in fact, Nelson’s daughter left her RM20 in her ex’s car, which she has no intention of taking it back.

“You can have the RM20 that my daughter left in your car.”

Nelson was also blunt on how he perceived the man and said,

“Out of all the men I’ve seen, you’re the most cheapskate one I’ve seen. If my daughter stayed longer with you, she would’ve had a bad life.”

The ex then stopped responding.

An ex is an ex for a reason. If you were Nelson, what would you do?
