I’m telling you man, this man is just incorrigible!
An infamous rapist who was dubbed the ‘ball-bearing rapist’ managed to escape from police custody yesterday. In case you’re wondering about the origin of his nickname, he got it from the three ball bearings implanted in his genital, hence the ‘ball-bearing rapist’.
According to MMO, the 27-year-old Indonesian suspect was initially nabbed by the police on June 13 for allegedly raping a 34-year-old woman in Kampung Rantau Panjang in Shah Alam.
However, the suspect managed to break free from North Klang police headquarters at 3pm. Apparently the resourceful suspect tied his lock-up trousers to the metal grille of the toilet window and prised it open.
“My men had waited for him to come out of the toilet. But after five minutes, they found him missing. A policeman at the guard post saw the suspect running and tried to catch him, but he had run into a jungle area,” North Klang district police chief, Mohd Yusoff said.
He then took off his lock-up shirt after getting wet while crossing a stream.
“He ended up running naked until he arrived at some squatters in Sungai Kapar Indah and changed into a new set of clothes. He also managed to cut off one side of his handcuffs,” he added.
After getting his freedom back, the ideal thing to do would be to find a spot to lay low, but that’s not what he did. Instead, he broke into several houses to steal and even attempted to rape a girl, according to The Star.
Thankfully, he was finally recaptured at 7am this morning (20th June) in Section 26, Kampung Baru Hicom Shah Alam. Good job PDRM!
The police are also on the hunt for an individual who allegedly accepted RM60 from the suspect to send him back to his village.
Well, let’s hope he faces severe punishment this time as he clearly showed no sign of remorse.
