Pets are not just animals that we have in our homes for fun but they are the members of the family too. Taking care of a pet is a huge responsibility that cannot be taken lightly. It is a lifelong commitment and the benefits of having an animal companion far outweighs any disadvantages.

Some of us prefer cats, some prefer dogs while others prefer exotic reptiles. But the love we share with our animal friends will overcome anything that comes our way. For one uncle, his biggest challenge daily might be walking his giant tortoise. He was spotted by @AbangCJ on Twitter who decided to share two pictures of the awesome uncle with his tortoise friend.

In the picture, the uncle was patiently walking his tortoise who is attached to a leash that the uncle was holding in case the tortoise decides to run away. What we can see from the picture is how much the uncle loves his tortoise. It is not easy to wait for a tortoise to make its move in the middle of the day. However, we are unsure of the legality of owning such an exotic animal.

We are not sure of the exact location but surely the neighbourhood will not have any problems in dealing with any noise coming from the tortoise. What we can learn from the uncle is taking care of a pet takes a lot of patience and you should only commit if you are really ready. Impulse pet adoption will lead to suffering so make sure you think thoroughly before making your decision!
